International travel, particularly in India, can feel both exciting and overwhelming at times. Our role is to help travelers move through it with greater ease, confidence, and support.
We assist with the practical details that often cause stress before and during a trip, including visas, transportation, timing, accommodations, airport navigation, regional logistics, and cultural considerations. We also help travelers prepare for the realities of travel in a country that can be vibrant, layered, crowded, surprising, and occasionally unpredictable.
Having experienced guidance allows you to spend less energy worrying about logistics and more time engaging with the experience itself, whether that’s navigating a busy market, settling into a heritage hotel after a long travel day, or confidently exploring places you may not have attempted on your own.

From block-printing studios and weaving workshops to family-run businesses and local guides with deep regional knowledge, we create opportunities to learn through conversation, observation, and hands-on experience.
We believe meaningful travel comes not just from seeing a place, but from understanding something about how it is made, lived in, and sustained. Sometimes that means printing textiles alongside artisans in Jaipur. Sometimes it means lingering over chai in a workshop courtyard or taking the slower route because something interesting is happening down the lane.

Our Travel Planning Timeline
1. Discovery Call
We begin with a complimentary 30-minute conversation to learn about your travel goals, interests, preferred pace, budget, and any special considerations. This helps determine whether we're a good fit and gives us the foundation for designing your journey.
2. Journey Design Deposit
Once your planning deposit is received (a non-refundable $1500/USD research, planning, management, and booking fee for businesses and organizations ($1000/USD for individuals) we begin researching and designing your itinerary. The deposit is non-refundable and will be credited
towards the final trip cost upon confirmation.

Once approved, you'll receive your final proposal.
3. Proposal Acceptance & Initial Trip Deposit
Once you've reviewed the preliminary proposal and wish to proceed, we will refine the
itinerary through up to two rounds of revisions before final approval.
Upon acceptance, an invoice for 50% of the trip cost will be issued.
Once your deposit is received, we begin confirming accommodations, experiences, and
transport with our trusted partners to secure your reservations.

This is also the perfect time to ask questions before bookings begin.
4. Around 45 Days Before Departure
(Depending on your itinerary and supplier payment schedules.)
The remaining balance is due approximately 45 days prior to departure.
We begin confirming your travel arrangements, including:

Experiences and workshops

Domestic flights (when applicable)

Special requests and room preferences
Once reservations have been confirmed, you'll receive your finalized itinerary.
Please note that pricing and availability cannot be guaranteed until reservations are secured.
5. Approximately 60 Days Before Departure
We'll check in with you to make sure everything is on track.
During this stage, we'll:

Make sure all payments have been completed

6. Two Weeks Before Departure
You'll receive your complete travel package, including:

7. During Your Journey
Whether you're traveling independently on a custom itinerary or joining one of my hosted India journeys, I'll remain available to assist with unexpected situations whenever possible.
Travel always has a few surprises, and having someone familiar with your itinerary can make all the difference.
8. Welcome Home
Once you've returned, I'd love to hear about your experience. Your feedback helps me continue building meaningful journeys, and many travelers return when they're ready to explore another corner of India—or somewhere entirely new.
A Few Things to Keep in Mind

Two itinerary revisions are included in your Journey Design Deposit.

Significant changes after the itinerary has been approved may require additional planning fees.

Prices and availability are subject to change until bookings are confirmed.

Some destinations, boutique accommodations, and specialty experiences fill well in advance, so earlier planning often provides the best options.

Travel insurance is strongly recommended and may be required for certain itineraries.
Travel is a partnership. Throughout the planning process, clear communication from both sides helps create the best possible journey. I'll keep you informed every step of the way, and I ask that you review documents, respond to requests for information, and complete payments by the dates provided so we can keep everything on track.

Tour costs vary and are dependent on the destination, length of stay, and complexity of the trip. On average, however, tour costs are between $8,500 and $12,000 for double occupancy.
